Overview
Bookmark Squirrel is a bookmark manager for storing and quickly looking up your internet URL bookmarks. If you are a power user, someone that has a lot of bookmarks, or needs easy access to bookmarks across different browsers (on the same or different machines) this site is for you.
If you want to install the bookmarklet right, head to Adding bookmarks. It makes adding bookmarks as easy as clicking a button.
Your Username menu is in the toolbar along the top of the page, next to the site title/icon, and is your username.
The Dashboard shows your most recent, and most frequently used bookmarks. It also shows bookmarks from custom searches that you save.
By using Groups and Topic cards, you can make yourself a quick reference view of your bookmarks.
Groups (aka a page) can be selected from the dropdown in the toolbar. A group shows a list of Topic cards.
A Topic card (or just simply Topic) a is a collection of bookmarks. Once you select a group from the dropdown, the topics for that group are shown.
By using tags you can make it easy to find your bookmarks later in Advanced search or the Grid view.
Private bookmarks are not shown in a group, topic or search results, unless you select the Show Private checkbox in your user menu. Private bookmarks are a great way to let you search for bookmarks while on the job, and not have personal or financial related bookmarks show.
